Best beach trips from Sucina

Hi,

Visiting Sucina for a few weeks at the end of September and am looking for tips on day trips. Cultural day trips aside I would love to hear about any lovely sandy beaches that have beds and parasols available. Not as mobile as I once was but love driving about and sampling all things Spanish.
Would I be right in assuming the area will be quite quiet in early October?
