Re: Benefits in the EU, country by country.
I remember whilst working in Ireland, an English girl of mid twenties (at a guess), coming in and saying she had just moved to Ireland. Without asking her why she declared it was because the dole was easier to claim. This she was boasting to an Irish collegue.
And I thought Britain were suckers!

Usual Torygraph propoganda.
The Sunday time article about Brits on the dole in Germany contradicts the Torygraph.

Better give that out to all prospective migrants to te UK, They would be better off in many other countries, particularly as the UK is tightening it's rules as to when people can claim.

From What I know there is a lot of "Untruths" in there. I don't who put it together but Spain and especially Italy are very incorrect.

A report todayBBC news ( not the toilet paper press ) states that immigrants to the UK are less likely to claim benefits than the UK native population.
You will not see that in the Dmail, Express etc.

Have you never thought about putting your brain into gear before posting ?
""Overall, it should come as no surprise to discover that, proportionately, migrants are less likely to be claiming out-of-work benefits than people born in Britain""

The headline says there are 6,000 unemployed EU migrants in Britain, and the text below says 600,000. Quite a difference
I'd be more worried about innumerate British journalists rather than EU migrants
