Hi guys,
Is Benajarafe a nice place overall for a family with toddlers to live?
Not too far from decent schools, grocery, restaurants etc? Relatively low crime levels?

It's a nice little coastal place. I don't know much detail re schools shops etc. It has a nice seafront and beach. A few restaurants, bars and chirinquitos. Quite busy in summer very quiet winter. No idea re crime rates but it's quite close to Rincon De la Victoria, much bigger and busier town. As has been said I would suggest visiting before considering living anywhere as everyone sees places differently.

I´d agree with that. If I could afford a finca there I´d be there in a heartbeat. Even tho I´d be driving 40 minutes to work it would be worth it. 2 of our employees live there. one has off road parking, but the other on road, and she says its a nightmare in the summer.

Benajarafe sea front does have quite a lot of parking although busy the times I have visited at peak summertime I have always managed to park. I think most of the housing is set back from the front ? I did last year wander off the front . It's fairly quiet off the front. However I would imagine currently most housing will be in the local Campo . As I say nice place. However again like many such places in eastern Costa Del Sol ripe for development , so who knows in the future.
