BBQ's

In the Olive Press today BBQ's are banned until mid October.

" Barbecues are forbidden anywhere within 400 metres of a forest.
They are only to be allowed in tourist establishments, rural restaurants and educational camps and you must have authorisation from Environmental delegations."

Tourist Establishment's , do you think this is referring to a rental holiday house or a hotel, especially as authorisation is needed?

Would welcome some advice ..

Thank you

For what it's worth I'd say it should apply to everyone. It seems sensible to apply the ruling considering the tinder dry conditions not only in the south but also in the north, such as Galicia, where rainfall has been scarce this winter. Here anyone wanting a bonfire has to contact the fire brigade for permission.
Thousands of hectares are lost each year to forest fires, admittedly some due to arsonists.

That rule certainly doesn't apply to all of Spain so I guess it's just Andalucia.

... any chance of a link.

The fire rules for Andalucia are here

No. I would suggest "tourist establishments" refers to those areas in the country and forest which have been specifically prepared for picnics and BBQs
