I have never found them in the shops around here but you have probably got access to the English shops so may be in luck. If you do not manage to find any pn me and I will give you the website of a company in UK who will send them over. They do them in packs of 10 for £2.50, every size and shape that you can think of and their p & p is fair. For example I ordered 70 and paid £10 p&p.

Hi Rosemary,

Thanks for your reply. I would appreciate the website address if you don't mind. I have looked in the shops near by and can't find any either.

Polly

I know the Johnsons English shops sell them (or so I have been told). We have English light bulbs in our rented place but I brought some back with me after we returned from England in the New Year

Here is the e-mail address of the company in UK that I bought from [email protected]. Some of the bulbs that I needed were not run of the mill so we had to e-mail each other a few times but they were extremely helpful. They were very cheap, efficient, fast and informative and I would highly recommend them. To see what light bulbs they do you could google dba electric and their internet site comes up, they sell a lot through e-bay and have excellent feedback. I was not prepared to pay through the nose for my bulbs and found this company through googling.

I have been told that you can buy adaptors for lamps just as you can for English plugs. A guy on the urbanisation we were buying on bought some.

We looked into buying adaptors but in adds a few inches to the fitment and this would have spoilt my pretty tiffany lamps so had to find a supplier.
