BATTERIES FOR SOLAR SYSTEM URGENTLY REQUIRED
Does anyone out there have any fairly new batteries for a 24 volt solar system. Ideally we need 12 but would consider less. We have been waiting for months for an order from a Spanish co. We are in Chiclana near Cadiz. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks Caroline

Can't help you with the batteries but for my solar system I found it easier to buy good quality used batteries (say 2004 onwards) on ebay UK for a fraction of the price of new ones in Spain and get them shipped over. They've been performing perfectly well ever since.

Looking at the title of this thread, I have learned something quite new.
I had no idea our solar system was a 24 volt battery job. I always assumed it was plugged in somewhere and run off something more complex than batteries, ie hydrogen fusion.
Are all solar systems battery powered then?

I know I am quite thick when it comes to technical stuff. A solar system as the name suggests gets it power from the sun. The batteries are used to store the energy.

Um, I was amused by the way it could appear to be concerning the solar system, eg earth, mars, the sun etc ......

Exam to move from one level of Spanish class up to the next. One has to earn the right to progress.
