Default Barcelona v Real Madrid tonight......but when?

Sorry to use a thread for such a thing, but anyone know the actual Spanish kick-off time for the Barca/Real Madrid match? I think it's 11pm here but am somewhat floundering and 9yo won't forgive me if we get to neighbours' too late!

The football site states 11 pm so your guess is probably right. Would make it 10 pm in the UK.

What site is that? I can't actually track down a Spanish site giving kick-off times. Probably being senior blonde tired etc all rolled into one

I thought I must have missed it, then was amazed to find out they were still playing at nearly one in the morning !

Two cracking good games of football followed by the usual childish games of handbags at five yards.

Seems it's fast becoming a Spanish tradition.

Supposed to have been a friendly charity match wasn't it ?
I thought they were well on the way to starting the next Spanish civil war.
(Wonder why they called it civil, didn't quite seem that way to me ?)

Even Morinho couldn't resist joining in with a very crafty move.

Expect he'll be confined to the stand again or was it his hotel room last time ?

9yo in pissy mood today because having made all the arrangements to go to neighbours, he declined to get out of bed.... but of course today it's all my fault. HELP! is there any comprehensive footage anywhere? YouTube seems to have a max of about 6 minutes.

You need to adopt Andalucian timetables!

At 11pm in August a 9yo would be just finishing their dinner

It's not the late eating, it's the sleep patterns do him in. Neither he nor I can 'do' siestas - I wake up worse than I started, he just won't go to sleep in the first place. Meanwhile OH can sleep for not just England but europe, nay the universe!
So... after a couple of days' worth of late nights, 9yo really isn't too nice to be around.
Besides - the offer was there. I just thought it wise he had a sleep first, then at the vital moment he turned it down, only to think better of it in the morning
Typical, I say

My spanish neighbours kids are given their meal around 8pm and are in bed by 10pm. Perfect for the parents to have dinner in peace around 10.30pm.

Good for them, though thats a pretty unsocial and unfamily orientated Spanish family

Most Spanish families eat together even when their kids are really young (2 or 3 years old), certainly my OH's family does

But then jackytoo, you do seem to be surrounded by Spanish families who "fill their trolley's with junk", so maybe you live in a deprived neighbourhood

I saw some bleary eyed Spanish people in Mercadona this morning, a lot of them lurking among the beer and wine rows. Their colours indicated that they're Madrilenos.

Sad ones, I imagine. (and foul-mouthed, judging in megagenerality mode by the posts on various fora !!!)
