Re: Barcelona tour
Hello
When you arrive there is plenty of those sightseeing busses that do a tour if that is what what you are after, if your moving there I am sure you will find your feet straight away in regards to that, Andy |

Re: Barcelona tour
Don't miss out on the Nou camp.
Contrary to it's name it's a bit long in the tooth now, but a fantastic stadium nevertheless with an excellent tour and much of interest to see. It's truly amazing, looking down from the highest stands the pitch looks to be about the size of a postage stamp and its hard to imagine a full scale match being played their until you actually see it. |
Re: Barcelona tour
I went to a match there v Sevilla, It was after that I got my eyes lasered as I was so high up I could not see Ronaldiniho like you say it is a postage stamp from the top.
Amazing memory though, sure I will be back ! I think I have done at least half of the main stadia's all of them I left with good memories ! |

Re: Barcelona tour
I don't have the link to hand but apparently there is a very good Spanish civil war tour conducted by someone called Nick Lloyd.

Re: Barcelona tour
This guy - Simon Harris - does a Ramblas tour and also a FCB tour.
I don't get on with the guy, but he has lived in Barcelona a long time, and he does gather positive reviews for his tour, so maybe worth reading his tour description: http://www.barcelona-travel-guide.in...e-ramblas.html |

I went on the 'shadow of the winds' tour (Carlos Ruiz Zafón book) when I was last in Barcelona with this company called 'orange monkey tours' and it was amazing! Run by a Dutch guy who knew Barcelona like the back of his hand, showed us all the sights on foot, told us lots about the history of Gaudi etc, even showed us some good restaurants and bars to go to; there's a tour for pretty much everything. it cost about 20euros and took about 3 hours, but was worth it! : ) enjoy Barcelona! : ) |

We can take a bike, look around the city, and then on the beach i will tell her everything)) How do you think? |
Re: Barcelona tour
We've just been on this free walking tour, takes about 3 hours but very friendly and knowledgeable guides.
http://www.travelbar.com/es/free-walking-tour/ Although free they do ask for tips and as lots of tours charge euro20 per person we were happy to give a worthwhile tip. BTW there a new ish restaurant '336' which is well worth a visit euro 20 for their set 3 course menu which is excellent and inclusive of wine. |

Keep one eye and a firm grip on your wallet at all times and if your lady friend has any valuable jewellry, then it's much better stored away in a secure location, than openly worn on the streets. |
