I'm fairly sure it's not Fabregas, as he can already speak English (and I suspect he's fairly clued up on Twitter etc)

Of course when people talk about a "huge football star" they normally exaggerate. But not in the case of Messi - unless you are talking physical size.

I see various IT jobs from startup companies all the time - it's a great time for young talented geeks. As you say, these jobs obviously can't exist. Whereas software firms around the world need developers, designers, support staff etc., the Spanish equivalents obviously have access to the tooth fairy to do the work
