Cool Barcelona 3 nights

Hi everyone, we are a family of 5 - kids age 2, 12 and 16 and will spend a little time in Barcelona. What places would you visit or have visited if you had 3 nights there?
Cheers in advance

Your best bet is to hop on the tourist bus as they give a running commentary in many languages. By doing this on your first day you not only see a great deal of Barcelona but can then also decide on the places that you want to visit.

I agree with the bus suggestion. There are also a variety of walking tours that will take you around the old town and "modernista" tours if architecture is your thing. Sagrada Familia would be a "must" but get your tickets online beforehand because the ticket queue can be an hour long. Only another 15 years till they finish it!

The bus tour is great value, we chose the two day ticket.
Sagrada Familia and other Gaudi works are amazing sights, http://www.globotreks.com/destinatio...ngs-barcelona/ but I am not sure that they would appeal to your kids?
A tour round Barcelona stadium would be a treat they can rave about to their friends when they get home. http://www.viator.com/tours/Barcelon...d562-2140FCBCN
A visit to Hard Rock Café on Plaza de Espana then a stroll down Las Ramblas.

Ditto but I would give Hard Rock Cafe a miss and try some tapas in the old quarter just east of Las Ramblas after the stroll.

Try this.

Barcelona 2015 - Tibidabo Parc d'Atracciones - Fairground

Something for all the family and the views are fantastic. Go by the metro and then antique tram
The cable car across the harbour is great too.

Barcelona has a very good network of bicycle lanes. I would hire bikes for the whole family and put the youngest in a bike seat

Then you can spend the whole day cycling around stopping wherever you want. Most of the things to see are down the hill, but if you want to Parc Guell then best wait until a bike free day as it is up a steep bit

The Hard Rock Café in Barcelona is on Plaza Catalunya. Although I feel like if you've seen one you've seen them all.

I always wondered who on earth went to Barcelona on holiday and decided that the best thing they could do was go to the Hard Rock cafe.

Now I know
