anyone who can come up with such biased crap either has just had a meal with a new love or has never been to the places on the list.

I could say it was my village, we had a pleasant home cooked "mediterranean" meal, a glass of wine and settled down in front of the tele.

It's what you make of it, with the right person, nothing to do with the ferris wheel, the sunset, the mountains, and all the other nothingness. Remember a very romantic meal in an open air restaurant at the back of Granada Cathedral..............
And then there was the meal in the terrace restaurant in the Alhambra hotel, dusk, birds singing, beautiful sunset...........

Yes, anywhere can be romantic or fun .. it's a combination of what turns you on, and what you make of it.

For me, Barcelona is very nice and well worth visiting at least once in your life, but there are plenty of other places which, if given a choice, I'd eagerly take over Barcelona.

I'd have to admit that Barcelona isn't as "exciting" for me anymore, as it would be for someone who's never been. Besides, there is more hype than ever now, which makes Barcelona a much more "hip" place to say you've been to...
