Given it's a club with a huge catchment and should reasonably expect to get into the Champions League most seasons, does this seem like a reasonable price?

I don't think it'd be a good price for a normal business - but football as we know is different. And I wouldn't rule out a foreign billionaire, trying to buy fame and glory, buying up the club. I hope someone does rescue the club, it'd be a shame to see it go under.

Foreign investors are very wary of coming to Spain because football clubs are an intrinsic part of the community and you need to work very closely with the city councils for everything
That was the reason why the Jeque in Malaga is pulling his money out. The guy and his entourage dont speak Spanish and are incapable of working with the ayuntamiento of Malaga. So no surprises that they weren't able to get permission to build a new stadium
In Spain, politics and making friends is very important
