Hi

In the Uk the Banks generaly operate from 9-4.30pm opening all day ..mon-Fri .

Can you give advice as to how the Banks differ in Spain mainland and should the same rules apply.

If for instance one had been out the night before and been cruising along the bars had a few immitation Real Ales , followed by some Paella and got home late and slid the classic "Trout Fishing in Derbyshire" DVD in whilst having your final coffee of the night . this causing you to be late to bed ...

The next day you have already planned a early start , so you rise very early meaning that you havent had much sleep !.. Around midday you are tired after all the "Teach Yourself Spanish the easy way" book reading and all the Por Favors and grathioses . You fell asleep whilst listening to " Sounds of British Wildlife vol 1" on the walkman .. many Hours you wake to discover at your horror its 4.32pm !!! Could you catch the bank ? Or would you have to wait and try again next day ?

So the hours are crucial to my living in Spain.

If you woke up at 3:01 pm it'd be too late to go to the bank already as they open from 9-3. Where I come from they open in the evening for a couple of hours on Thursday only (except in the summer months), I don't know if this applies to the rest of Spain..
