I recently changed from Banco Santander to Sabadell. Banco Santander have some brilliant staff, but I have also come across some who have no concept of customer service. The bank does not seem to have the management structure to weed them out, or retrain them. The final straw was when they closed my branch without telling me. I went down one day, and there were whitewashed windows and a Se Alquilar sign. When I went to the branch I found they had moved me to, I asked to make an appointment to see the manager to try to rebuild the relationship. I was refused this request! I am very happy with Sabadell so far, as are local many friends. Sabadell in Finestrat, Santander in Benidorm.
