Sorry to hear you are going back so soon. I had heard that your kids were settling into their new schools. Any plans on returning to Ayamonte?:)

We'll return on holidays to visit friends we've made here, but we miss our family in England too much. Its lovely when they visit but then we dread them going etc....
At least we've tried it, and made some great friends too.

Is it not possible to use your local vet?
You have up to 48 hrs from treatment time to check-in for the ferry.
If you go to Santander first you have to wait at least 24 hrs before you can check-in.
(Treatment time to check-in time has to be somewhere between 24 and 48 hrs.)

We are driving up and taking our dog also (for a holiday) our local vet has taken the rabies anti bodies blood test got the paperwork, sent it away , it came back a ok for travel, he will sort the tick/ flea/ worming for us also. It will be done the night before we travel for the ferry the next evening.

There is a list of vets in France, Spain and Belgium in the free beer thread.
