Back in town :-)
Back home now to a fair few changes in my neighbourhood. Nice to see the market and live music in Ribera. I have started The Ruta de Tapa with 2 unusual ones and looking forward to a few more. Any one out there want to join me ? much better with company :-)

Re: Back in town :-)
Will I take that as a no then ? finding it hard to make friends here. Are there no single people who want to meet up sometimes ? company for events or trips out ? :(

Who are you calling unusual? I'll join you for a coffee in July. Sadly, the snails will be "sliding" off the tapas menu by then. Which day of the week is the club for tapeando? I'm imagining a conga line... "Come on , shake your body baby, do the conga! I know you can't control yourself any longer..." Did someone say shy? :scarper: |

I had to wait to respond as we were meeting for lunch today and I wanted to check the route this time around. This Friday we will be at the Parador at about 19:30 or so...(for a tapas or 4 on the tapas trail..... ) If I understand your address right, you are not far from there. Can you meet us there? So far there is even a free seat for you in a car. (No taxi) If many more turn up at the shop then its a taxi from there.... If not at Parador we don't mind coming into town to have a drink and pick you up. We will go onto P Moral for the tapas this time around. If so lets say the Passage (Pepe's) at 20:15 (or so). Please PM me your mobile so we can be in touch for any changes. You are not forgotten and welcome to join us... PLEASE DO SO... Hopefully see you Friday 21st at one of the above.... Jon PS you know us all!! |

Hi CW we have a 'Friday Club' its informal and friends going into town for a drink or 2 and fun. Sharing any taxi bill still works out cheaper than a night at say the golf club and more to do. We meet at the 'local' in CE at 18:30 or so for a drink and then about 30-45 mins later head out.

Thank you for the offer to join you all. I have never been to the Parador on foot nor by car but I do know where it is. The only way I know walking to it would be out to the poligino roundabout then turn right to next roundabout and bare right. Probably take a taxi ( I am up from the bollards on the cut off street to town by the river.) Will PM movil number. Thank you.

Hell of a way round, walk up hill behind you, go up steps and keep going left, then still left past Salvador church you will come out top of hill near roundabout and left is The Parador. |

Thanks Sue, yes it would be but then I did not know of another way. Having a dog that's had 2 ops and just had leg pins out finally and my own legs swelling in the heat I tend not to walk too far. I used to walk miles :-(
