Don't forget the helmet my sister was on the back of her boyfriends bike way back in the late fifties, they had a crash, no one else involved he just hit an oily patch on the road. She went over his head and travelled a bl*&^y long distance on her head but thankfully she had a crash helmet on and this saved her life. My mum kept that helmet for over 20 years to remind us all of the dangers, it was caved in all down one side.
