Bédar Fire
There's a major fire burning above Bédar (Almería) at the moment. Not much sleep tonight as we watch and see. Very frightening for them.

Please keep updating, my brother has a house in Bedar and this is very worrying indeed. Am struggling to get news updates

Will do. See The Entertainer Online. The fire has moved inland as of this morning, but so far, Bédar's residents, evacuated last night, have not been allowed back.

The Forest Defence helicopters' based in Seron have been very busy,ferrying water to the fires. This one,number D1,has only just returned with an empty bucket and settled down on the pad. None of the others' are in the air,so lets hope the fires are beginning to settle down.

They've apparently caught some welder who - by accident - started the fire.
