Ayamonte
Hi
We had a drive around CE to check out the changes today.. Then stopped at the shop for a drink (BTW still open at 15;45) We could see that the whole region was dry! But nice to see the new villas sprouting in the CE bit! :) We spoke to friends at the shop who had just come back from town ... and they said that there were police AND soldiers there. Weird. Anyone know why? Thankfully we had lunch in Portugal, so they missed us, this time. :). :) Another subject, we spoke to a friend, PT police officer, at the weekend, and he tells us that the reservoirs (and dams) are less than half full. We can see that water is needed, so we are hoping for a good rainfall... even though we are here. The news says that its already a record breaking month, with ocean temperatures at a high. Hopefully the risk of fires, also on alert, don't. happen. Its hot and dry, but still beautiful :) Another subject: The friends at the shop said that the bus times had changed, before the usual time (of 8 September). We rarely take the bus, but if you do be aware.... Jon |
Re: Ayamonte
Strange question I know but what are the shops ie paint shops like with refunds as I bought a large tin of exterior paint €45 , and on the day of my painting had an email to tell me the Bloque is due to be painted .Typical. |
