Axarquia ?
 

Hi ,
we are thinking of visiting Malaga and east soon , with a view to get informed about life , properties etc.
Places mentioned were Velez Malaga , Torox , Iznate , Algarrobo , Frigiliana ...
would one expect broadband , Wi-Fi in those parts ?

Wifi depends on signal strengths etc and as any wifi system totally dependant on these factors.
I would say yes to Torrox and Inzanate, althought the latter is facing northwards in the lee of high ground but should be ok. Try looking down in Triana and Benamargosa areas [just north of Velez Malaga] Vinuela area is quite nice too but beware of illegal builds.

I have friends on the Torrox/Frigiliana mountain road and they have broadband in their house

Hi we have just returned from them area's last week,fantastic place,we stayed in a villa up a mountain on the Torrox / Competa road and they had broadband,I really liked it inland from Velez Malaga mind you we travelled about a lot and its gorgeous all around there . Have a great time and I hope you find what you are looking for :thumbsup:
