Are there any ATM machines that are free to use for Sabadell debit cards. If not which ATM´s incur the lowest charges please.

After landing in Faro I always use ATMs in Continente supermarkets to draw Euros for free using my UK debit card. I now always do this on my way to Spain because it is almost impossible to find a Spanish ATM that doesn't make a charge. Just hoping nothing has changed since I was last there six months ago.

Dunno about Spanish debit cards as I don't have a Spanish bank account any longer.

I am surprised ,though, that no one who lives close to the border with Portugal has any experience in using a Spanish debit card in a Portugese ATM.

I use Santander UK debit card. No charges and good exchange rate, if you can find a branch in Portugal.

We used a Sabadell card in Portugal and did had charges but no surplice here are I have the feeling that Sabadell is throwing charges on lots of transactions and will get rid of it the soon we can be in Spain

Santander UK debit cards are charge free and give almost perfect exchange rates at Spanish Santander ATMs. That does not apply to transactions at Santander Totta ATMs in Portugal where a fee is applied by Totta.
