Default Asociation amas de casa

I have been given a note which says that I am invited to 'merienda mujeres, asociation amas de casa' - can anyone tell me what this may be about please.

Yes that is what we think too but not sure what it will entail.

Thanks for the info. The person who invited me is very helpful and trustworthy but I was not sure what I was letting myself in for you have put my mind at rest.

I have done aerobics classes through our local "amas de casa" pay an annual membership and everything is subsidised. Coach trips etc . Well worth checking out. Great way to meet spanish women and practice the lingo.

The meetings are about meeting and talking with the people who live in the same town so I think it will be very good for practicing hearing and speaking Spanish and making new friends.

My interests are very broad but sitting in bars or pubs is not one of them so each to their own I guess.
