ARGOS Shops

Hello all

I wonder if there any any shops like ARGOS (in UK) in Madrid. If so, please let us know.

Many thanks

Nothing like Argos exists but big out of town superstores exist - such as Miro, Urende, Media Markt (more for IT) - and they are all good value. Even the likes of the big Carrefour superstores carry most of what you would find in Argos at excellent prices.

Have you considered buying online? That's where you will get the best deals.

www.kelkoo.es is a price comparison site and you will find many online outlets.

By the time you have added the charges they make for delivery, then it's almost certainly cheaper to buy here.

You can buy this from Argos .....On Line 11,000 pounds however the postage from the UK is 400,000 pounds :rofl::rofl::rofl: If you look at a thread from May 22nd 2006 Argos in Spain the same is discussed thereon. ;)

I am trying to get Hollands steak and kidney puddings and meat and tatty pies but they are from Up North and I don't know anyone living up there to post them over here. The Hollands website are getting geared up for buying online.I know its off topic and those pies were really bad for you, But were hmmmmmmmm delicious :p

Try Expert. They are run as a franchise. There are shops all over Europe so they can be trusted,

Urende and Boulanger are best for electronics, IT, etc. and they have a much more efficient returns policy than Carrefour which is pretty abysmal.
