Anyone need a barmaid?
 

Hi there, I wonder if anyone can help me?

I finish my degree in May and start my new job in August. I'd love to spend some of my summer working in Spain, and with almost 5 years experience of bar work it would be ideal to work in a bar. My Spanish is limited so ideally I'd be looking for work in a British/Irish run bar in a tourist area. I'm not looking to earn much money (and ideally don't want to spend much on accommodation) I'd just love to spend the summer somewhere different and earn my keep at the same time! Does anyone know of any opportunities available or a good organisation I could find information through?

I've worked in a busy cafe-bar since 2002, and was promoted to supervisor in 2004. I sit my medical exams in April and will start work as a junior doctor in August....so I'm reasonably intelligent, reliable, friendly, and skilled with a pint glass!

Any help or guidance anyone can provide would be much appreciated!

Depends which part of Spain you are thinking of but take a look at this site....

There are a few bars listed with phone numbers and e-mail addresses so you could contact any/all of them to ask about seasonal work. Good Luck :thumbup:
