anyone know colegio miramar in torremolinos?
In our continued saga re schooling in Spain, we would like feedback from anyone who has children who have been to or go to Colegio Miramar in Torremolinos. I have been given the impression that although the facilities are a little "dated", the teaching is good, and there is a native English speaking English teacher. Thanks!

Just think of "concerts"! No, it's private, but not expensive, as it does not offer fancy schmancy facilities. The thing is that our little one can read already (he's not even 5) and apparently if he starts at a public school he will have to go backwards, so we are in a bit of a quandary. There isn't actually a place at a school near us anyway (we have one right opposite). The private school offers longer hours, which is convenient for us for work reasons, and although we have to pay, it means I have more time to work in, so can accept more work and afford to pay it! Any ideas re private schools in general here? It seems like it is quite a genuine school with a family atmosphere, compared to a lot of these new ones that have high staff turnover and claim to be bilingual but have a Spanish teacher teaching English!
