Re: Anyone know a better route?
Hi
We are travelling down to Javea at the end of March. We are looking at doing the Portsmouth - Bilbao route. This is due to the fact ( same as yourselves ) our 8 yr old and a large caravan. We are hoping by doing this route to cut down on the driving. Hoping to do the drive down in about 10 hours, from bilbao.
Is there any reason why you are going this route ?
Thanks
Scott

Just did, admit we did not exactly stick to the speed limits but there was nothing else on the roads, ended up waiting ages for the ferry though as we were a bit early. according to sat nav just over 900 miles.

Hi Lulu
Sorry it has not worked out in spain for you. We are coming out to spain at the end of March. Are you going to be selling your caravan and your car, on your return to the UK, is it spanish registered? What is the market for second hand cars/caravans in spain like? Is it possible to sell used caravans in spain? PM me if required.
Thanks
Scott/Vanda

Hiya
We wont be selling our 4 x 4 but we will be selling our caravan when we get back, however that is English good old Baileys senator wyoming 2004 model twin axel only really used to come here in 2004.
Second hand cars hold their price in Spain, sometimes its cheaper to buy new we registered our English vehicle years ago to Spanish plates.
