Anyone else had/got Iberdrola sign in problems

I have successfully used a Chromebook laptop to access my Iberdrola online account for years - but now I cannot sign in or reset my password.

Has anybody else suffered with this issue, and if so, how did you fix it?

Trying to contact Iberdrola via email/phone/whatsapp has so far been useless.

I have downloaded their app, and it signs straight in. Seems like Iberdrola has a problem with Chromebooks.

how old is your chromebook ?

have just had to replace mine after 10 years, it was working perfectly but after 10 years they stop sending updates and things then started to go down hill, things stopped working, or worked periodically........new laptop then hey presto !!

I would quite happily have paid a subscription every year to keep it running, just a waste of a good laptop imo..............300€ for a new laptop later and everthing now works fine.

just a thought.

Not compatible with all Chromebooks (Intel/AMD only apparently), but Linux Mint could be an option for aging hardware. Haven’t yet had the opportunity to try it myself.

Thanks for replying - it has about 3 years to go (All Chromebooks have a forecast date after which they might not take updates), and I religiously keep it up to date with the OS version and the apps. It happily signs into everything else (water, SUMA, etc) but either a Chrome OS update or an Iberdrola update has caused a problem.

I tried a few fixes suggested by AI, but nothing worked.

I have downloaded their app onto my phone, and access was instant. So that is the workaround for now.

Not sure I am confident enough to play around with Linux.
