Default Any up-dates on Killing a Tree Spanish Style

It was posted last year and several forum members were doing battle with various types of trees.I was really interested by the kilo of salt method.I've a Carob stump that is trying to take over my garden and I'd rather use an organic method (but haven't ruled out petrol)

Ooohh..... really keen to see replies! Our false pepper, cut to virtually ground level last May, then copper nails applied, then (much against my organic principles but done to save further damage to the terrace wall) countless quantities of strong herbicide applied, is STILL fighting back. Salt is one I haven't tried, though, so maybe I'll get out there and see if that is any more successful.

In fact such is my brain deteriorating I've only just realised it was MY thread!!!!!!!!!!!! Doh. *Beats forehead with rolled up newspaper*
