Any rooms to rent in Madrid?
Hi everyone,
I'm moving to Madrid on the 5th April and I am looking for a room to rent in central Madrid. I am from the UK, and a 25 year old English teacher, I am friendly and like to socialise, but also very clean and respecful of other people. I speak some Spanish and I don't mind what nationality I live with.
I would prefer to live in the Malasana or La Latina areas. Please let me know if you have a room to rent or know anyone who does.
many thanks,
Katie

Go to this page, and click on the latest magazine issue
http://issuu.com/inmadrid
Then click to read, and go to end of the mag where the classifieds are (in the March issue around page 14).
Or try sites like MadridEasy or even a site like CraigsList for Madrid. Danger of scams around, so beware.
Personally I'd book a hostal (note NOT hostel, a hostal is like a small hotel - altho hostels can be good for finding info) room for a few weeks first, and look/ask around.
