Any Regrets?

OK,Having a wobbly moment!!
Does anyone have any regrets about moving to Spain? Apart from the obvious missing friends and family?
I think its because I'm frantically trying to get house decorasted to get on the market, and at the moment the weather is so lovely, it all looks quite good here at the moment, although I know I'd feel different if it was peeing down with rain!

No regrets at all. There is nothing i miss about the UK apart from family and even at that i can hop an easyjet flight back when it get too much.
You only live once. If you come here and it doesnt work out then go back home. At least you will have tried it. You dont want to live your life wondering what if.:)

Dont miss a thing and thats including family! Ok I am not being nasty but the nice thing about living here is I see more of them now, and it quality time that we spend with the family when they come over. So all in all nothing would drag me back to the Uk.

Well, its such a comfort to hear so many positive endorsements to going out there, as I've said before, my main worry is meeting people as my other half will be away for so much of the month, need to line myself up a hunky young pool man and gardener like in desperate housewives seeing as i'll be one lolol.
Wobbly episode over..... until the next one !!!! :)

Great replies:) Our house has gone on the market and I keep having wobbly moments every time I look at the For Sale notice. It's great that this site gives so much positive feedback. Its wading my way through the 'red tape' that worries me such as N.I.E numbers, opening bank account etc:confused:

HE'LL BE A MERE SHELL OF A MAN WHEN i'M FINISHED OOOERR!!!
We're moving to Llacuna, near Villalonga,Valencia, which a little bit out of the way, up a mountain, about 10- mins out of town. I am really hoping that I'll find some friendly faces, all our neighbours are Spanish, but I know there are a few ex-pats in the village, hopefully I'll meet them at the language classes in the town hall. God I sound needy!! but I'm a real people person, and because I won't be working, well not at first, although I'm hoping to eventually set up my nail business, but I need to be more fluent first!:)

All of that is easy, N.I.E numbers at the police station, and opening a bank account was much easier than in England, we were lucky enough to find really good agents that helped with it all, there are so many friendly people on here, I'm sure there will be someone that lives near where you'll be going that would be happy to help, I intend to 'pay it forward' with all the help I've received!:D :D
