Any experience with probate process? Spanish Resident Father willed apt to kids
Hi All
My father, a permanent resident in Spain, passed away in May of this year. He left his property to my siblings and I who are UK based.
He had a spanish will which we are executing.
Herencia document has been created and we've submitted this to the office in Madrid to have the property and bank accounts changed over to our names. This was all submitted in May of this year.
Do any of you have any experience with the Spanish probate process? How long should we expect it to take for new deeds to be issued for the property and permission for the bank to transfer ownership to us?
