I've only seen the Spanish version, but 'Anonymous' (those with the V for Vendetta masks) say they will close down Facebook (or 'fesbu') on November 5th. Permanently.

Someone actually posted this on my Facebook wall today, as I was concerned to notice that FB had automatically set security settings to 'non-secure sessions' and mentioned I'd changed mine back to 'secure, not that anyone would want to hack MY Facebook account'

Is it a joke?

Probably do more good than harm looking at the problems that facebook appears to be creating around the world.

I personally can't see the benefit of these social networking sites (FB, Tuenti, MSN, Twitter etc.) but maybe I'm just old and still in the dark ages:confused::confused:

Surely there are better ways to communicate and share information?

Close down Facebook this happen every day at FB .... do you know how many attact per day thay get .... IT dept is good there and dont think would be a problem

security settings want to keep eye on it like you house , very day and make sure you dont have same password as you email acount are you visa card
