Almunecar shops?

Just completed on an apartment in La Herradura and wondering if anyone knows the best shops to go to for household items such as bedding in Almunecar?
We plan to gradually replace the furniture in the apartment. Can anyone recommend any local shops for household items? I know there's an IKEA in Malaga, but we would quite like to boost the local economy by spending our money closer to home.

There is a surprisingly good furniture shop at the top of the main entry road to the village. On the right hand side just after the Chinese shop.

Most furniture shops keep very large catalogues of furniture with just a few examples in the shop. They can usually get what you like from the manufacturers is a week or two if they don't have it in stock.

There are lots of small shops in Almuñecar but a visit to Motril would make sense. There is a large department store there called Radiovision.
