Re: Alhaurin El Grande
Simon,
My wife and I escaped the kids years ago and settled down in Alhaurin el Grande.
It is a'whitewashed village' but at its present growth rate it is now a town.
Where abouts in the village are you hoping to settle down in?
This village gets a knocking because of its expat community which is appx. 20% of the population. It has all the shops, bars and restaurantes as you will ever need and a fair number of British foods shops. I cannot really understand it apart from Branston which has no world equivalent in my opinion and I have been throwing it down my throat for decades!!!
Are you working here or early retirement??
Any queries on the village or area just ask.
We live down the lane with Posh Pets at its junction near Venta Los Chavos on the Coin Road.
