Alcoutim International Music Festival
The festival starts tonight, at 8 pm (Portuguese time), in a marquee on the waterfront, and continues on Saturday evening, and on Sunday, at midday,if there is anyone still standing!
It is organised by various ex-pats who live on boats in the river. It will mainly be English/Irish music, though other nationalities will be playing too. About 12 acts are lined up.
It is free to enter, though there is a possibility of a hat being passed to cover the musos expenses- they are not being paid.
