I see the rifles for sale in hardware shops over here.

Given the hysterical attitudes here, don't be surprised if you find yourself staring into a dozen Heckler&Koch gun barrels at the airport.

Can't help you with the licence info tho.

Shooting of any living animal with an airgun in Spain is illegal.

Now that truly blows my mind.

There was a guy on the other week who shot in the face "alledgedly" a bloke trying to shag his dog (not his wife, his pet) apparently the Police were as easy going with his shooting someone as they were with the dog worrier - Unless he's a lying git I'd say you'd have no probs with an air rifle.

lol - It better be <12ft/lbs or you'd need a FAC in the UK, all UK sold air rifles are <12 unless they are FAC models, though the power output is pellet dependent it should be alot less then 18.

PS - I left my .177 BSA Hornet at home as I was not sure what the USA laws were, I needn't have bothered as in the US air rifles are not classed as firearms, irrespective of power.

I now own a .44 mag Henry lever action rifle - no license, and I can buy ammo at my local supermarket:thumbup:

:

In Spain it is 24.2 Joules which is equivalent to just under 18 ft/lbs.

I don't shoot at the range any more (pistol & rifle) It's just that I have restored it some 10 years ago and when ordering spares was told it dates back to 1939 so it,s only sentemental value.
