We used to put it on interior reclaimed soft red brick walls, fireplaces and floors to stop the brickdust flying about the room.
It also brings out the colours of the bricks.

Bil.........The wood is going from a dark brown after treatment and now appears lighter and looks a little dry with the sun and rain. I am sure I heard him say it was diesel I wonder what property's that had and what would happen if the wood was painted with diesel only.I dont want to use a wood treatment because I think they look tacky. The workmanship it top quality. I don't want Mrs Posh getting all dirty for nothing. :p

Diesel might be used to thin the used car oil. diesel on its own? Well, it would certainly make it more flammable!

The desil is used to kill any bugs you have to soak the wood in it.
We have used engine oil and linseed oil to coat the beams in the house and to coat the red bricks

I instruct Mrs Posh what needs to be done and to deal with the tasks various , If she wants to sub-contract due to possible damage to expensive finger-nails then that is down to her. I mean she is my number two let her crack on.
