Air con man Oliva area
I think my aircon needs re - gassing. Can anyone recommend someone reliable?? (Oliva area). I don't think you are allowed to post (advertising) so I would be gratefull for a p.m. if you know someone. It was originally installed by Carrefour (long out of warranty) but their installers were terrible - they didn't even bring a ladder!

Hi Pete.
I bought a frontline unit from them about 4 years back & yesterday it failed to cool.
Ah I thought it needs re gassing & called the local lads in to rev it up, it was not the gas but the compressor (they let me read the guages in situ), but luckily I had bought another unit a while back that was sitting in the garage so they fitted that works a treat.

Thanks for the info - I will keep my fingers crossed that it's not the compressor. It was working fine, and it has stopped working without being used any more,while the house was unoccupied, if you see what I mean. So that makes me think that it could need regassing - like with car aircon if you don't use it occasionally.
