can anyone give me advise, we want to move to Tenerife and run our own business, this means we will have to sell our house and use the money to lease a bar/Restaurant. Then hopefully by a place to live after renting for a while. we are totally disillusioned with britain and our jobs.
We have a six year old son,and would welcome any advise on whether this type of business is viable in Tenerife, or any Canary island as there always seems to be so many for sale. we have chosen the canary island because it is an all round year destination and the weather is not so extreme. Anyone who can give advise please do.

Don`t know anything about Tenerife, but stick clear of a bar unless you are very experienced and like working 20 hrs a day.
We dont get a lot of posters from the Islands, but you may get a response
