Default 3G for laptop in Spain

I've had a look around and I can't work it out. Does anyone know if there are any 3G providers in Spain that offer unlimited data usage transfer on a laptop?

I had a look at Vodafone and I believe they cover the region I want it in Sax, Alicante but I can't work out any of the packages etc.

In the UK Vodafone offer a G£ USB modem for 3G use at around £45 a month for unlimited usage (I think). I just wondered if any of the mobile companies in Spain offer similar deals. It would be helpful if I could use my laptop on a fast connection around Spain, not for primary use, but for back-up

I got as far as this link and gave up

Nacnud im after the exact same thing but for the costa del sol area. I can connect my PDA Smartphone up to my laptop and pull the net from that, so im after a sim card with very cheap / unlimited data use and also there may be the odd calls and texts going from it.

If anyone can recommend anything id be greatful. Im thinking of just getting a cheap Pay as you go sim to start with but the data would be very very useful.

Vodafone do a talk 60 mins pay for 1min, to landlines and other Vodafones, but i dont suppose for a minute the tinternet number would be the right number for this ?

Sam Parky used to run her tinternet off her phone if I recall.

I wouldn't recomend this product. Before having our rural ADSL, my boyfriend looked for information about this "navega y habla donde quieras y cuando quieras" in several mobile companies. He was told that we live in an area with a very good 3G cover, so he would have no problems. He signed the contract with movistar, and they could be right about the very good 3G cover in our area, but not in our house, because we couldn't connect to Internet. My boyfriend is still trying to cancel the contract. So be sure before getting it.

Hi
I am writing this on my laptop with a PCMCIA card for the 3G access from Moviestar. I am very happy with the service, it works well for me, and the new things that take a sim card are USB not PCMCIA connections, which mean with an extention cable you should get a better signal.

Costs 34.80 euros for one Gig download, speed is 384 Kbs

Pm me if you need more info

Dave
