it was the way that statement came out with 9yo at the end of the line I thought you were talking about a 9yo malt
then I realised what u were saying in the rest of it

must take more water with it
well perhaps later
much later

We get all our booze from Vins Grau whose business is not far from us. They stock every type of alcolhol I've ever heard of and a lot I haven't. They deliver throughout Spain.

I had a quick look on their website for sherry and I don't see any boxes. However they do have a good range. Here's the link:

http://www.grauonline.com/en/article...d-extremadura/

I have to say I've never heard of sherry in boxes and as for 20 litres - could anyone lift that???

Mercadona do a 5 litre box of amontillado - it's called Fino Montiole. I use it for cooking - it's fabulous with Spanish roast chicken. Never seen cream sherry in Spain.

I buy creams and pale creams in all the usual supermarkets...Hipercor, Carrefour, Mercadona.

I assumed they were all readily available in Spain but obviously not!

It's wine harvest time at the moment....I'm going to a sherry tasting tonight:)

Where are you looking? I only found white pages with black fonts, and white fonts with black background, but got bored looking after half a dozen or so pages!

For anyone within striking distance of Jerez and an interest in sherry, last opportunity to go the sherry & tapa tasting tonight:

Hmm. Very curious! I get the same zoom in of a glass with the white text & pale brown titles...........but over a black (slightly transparent) background! It is easy to read. Why do we see different things when we look at the same page? What is happening here????

PD - The webpage is much sharper than my low res screen shot.

Maybe some glasses or new glasses are in order Dom.
I'm even wearing some old ones because I can't be bothered going in another room to get my currant glasses...the page looks fine and easy to read to me.

Don't think so!
I need a total re-fit and I've already got two titanium bars holding me together.
Just to keep it on topic...I wonder if sherry would help. ;)
