19th HOLE
 

signs of activity at the 19th Hole - gardeners tidying up, rubbish beeing cleared and, yesterday, a delegation of four or five people (with clipboards). Anybody know if something is happening?

I know that the food parcels that are given out by the what was the Costa Esuri golf charity gatherers, like the book club, Captains Charity, mosaics, etc. were using it to make up the parcels and deal them out to the less well off of Ayamonte, which they have done for quite a few years now. For some reason the golf club would not let them do it there. I shall let somebody more in the know to tell you what is happening at the 19th I have only heard a few rumors.
Big thank you to everyone involved in raising money for the food parcels.

Vista Verde club (the old hole 19 and Jags) is now open and being run as a private residents club. They are in the process of holding a number

of events to let everyone know what they are doing. If you are currently in Esuri there is a coffee morning tomorrow ( Thursday 8th October) between 10.00 and 12.00, so if you would

like to see what is going on there please feel free to pay them a visit.

OOOOO !! Let's hope - fingers crossed ! Brave venture in these Covid19 times but, hopefully, if we are able to vaccinate and travel is possible then the place would be busy as all CE would be happy to support it to keep these businesses going.
