18 and looking to move over there...
 

Hello, i have only just found the forums and i must say im impressed with that i have seen,

I am 18 at the moment and in full time work at a bank in england, training to be a banking advisor which should set me in good stead to go over there, with another part or my current employer that operates over there.

My girlfriend is also 18 and is studying at the minute, looking to go over there to study.

The problem is that we dont know how to go about getting funding for her to study over there, and where to go to apply, is this a case of going striaght to the uni in spain for an answer...?

I am have seen that we're looking at about 1200 a month to have a comfy ish lifestyle, which wouldnt be a problem i think, depending on what the banks over there would pay.

Does anyone know a rough wage for working in a bank over there on the off chance?

Any info on where to go would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry I cannot help jimmyboy, but I see quite a few youngsters with less education than you and they do quite well here, so good luck with your venture, I am sure you could start by emailing the uni's and simply ask the question, or try the Spanish Embassy in UK

Thanks for the advise and promt replies. I just need to find out if work offer any schemes that help the likes of myself to get set up over there.

unexpat that link was really useful, i will pass it onto my girlfriend.

What has everybody else found about about working, living etc over there.
