Starting a business in south africa any help???
 
hello I wanted to know if it is possible for a foreigner to use a south african to open a business whilst waiting for your SA ID to come out then claim your shares and rights when your ID comes out???

Hi smni, and welcome to the BE South African forum.

This sounds like a matter for an attorney, and I think needs a legal agreement to be drawn up beforehand if you are considering a partnership.

There are some BEE requirements you would need to consider (based on the size of the company / turnover etc) but being foreign you can open a business without an ID. But - to open a bank account, get credit and property, an ID will make the process much easier.
