Zimbabwean's in Singapore?
I'm moving to Singapore at the end of July and will be teaching in an international school in Clementi. I have been living in New Zealand for nearly 5 years but am from Zimbabwe originally.
Does anyone know of any other Zimbabweans or South Africans living in Singapore? I'm a white Zimbabwean but am keen to meet up with both black and white Zimbabweans/South Africans/other Africans.
Thanks!

Hi there. I no longer live in Singapore - used to live/work there 2005-2007. Certainly I knew a few South Africans when I was there, so I imagine you will bump into some. Singapore is a very cosmopolitan place. You'll find all nationalities to meet with, and the locals are good fun too. Enjoy

Hi CdK
There's an African Society in Singapore. Might be a good place to start. My hubby's from West Africa and there are lots of South Africans around too (and from other parts of Africa).

Enjoy your time here. Bakedbean's right - it's very cosmopolitan.

Thanks for the replies. I'll contact the African Society when I'm actually in Singapore - sounds like a good place to start.
