why is it so hard to get a job in Singapore when you have a PR, is it a question of its not what you know but who you know. I was working in project consultancy in U.K and quit the job to move o Singapore to be with my husband who is a Singapore National...a very confused and lost sole...(me). Does anyone know of any career advisors.

Jobs seem to be hard to come by in general Asianlilly. And your right - who you know not what you know seems to come into a lot.

I've seen looking for part-time work for a while - almost non-existent and sometimes paying below UK minimum wage. Sigh.
