Not sure if this helps but I am wanting to base my family in Malaysia, with my holding company based in Singapore (no tax on dividend income, and company tax is about 17% or 18%). In turn I have set companies up in UK Australia and NZ to operate self sufficiently.

Purush take a look at ACRA website. It should come up on google. You can see what set ups (company, partnerships etc) are possible and can check re tax. FWIW Singapore always used to be low taxes, I presume still is.

As ExReg said the country is expensive these days with a strong currency. Something to bear in mind. Having said that, still a great place to be. UK or Singapore? It's a no brainer IMO :)
