Tax and remuneration
Does anyone have advice about most tax efficient structuring for living in Singapore?
Self employed so living mainly on dividend income. Notice on the tax website this is non taxed??
And company tax is only 17% is it really this good or are there hidden considerations???

Re: Tax and remuneration
I'm not up to speed with Singapore taxes (I left in late 2007) but we ran a business there (as Partnership not Company) and we found the place verrry tax friendly and saved lots of dosh. Other things drove us nuts , but the tax side very nice. A good place to work.
IRAS is also very helpful. If you don't want to consult with an accountant, go along and fire some questions at them. They don't mind at all. Just be honest with them.
I'll leave for others to give more specific up-to-date info
