Singapore PR
Hi,
I recently moved from UK to Singapore and am an Employment Pass holder. I have been working in Singapore for 7 months now and am planning to apply for PR. What are my chances of getting approval? Is there anything specific authorities look for? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Hi Tom,
AFAIK, the criteria can be found here. If your employer can 'support' your application, that'll help with your chances. Having said that, getting PR in Singapore is probably one of the most hassle free experiences you'll ever have .
Good luck!

have heard from others that you usually need to have been here for 1 year but that also depends on your nationality, education level and experience
I switched from EP to PEP. I may now look at moving on to PR as it will make it easier for my wife to get a job

Add youngish, likely to stick around and procreate, and - all else being favourable - you'll have no problems.

Hi all
I am new member on Singapore forum.
I just checked ICR website and found that when applying for PR a person must be sponsored by a Singapore PR holder or citizen, is it true?
At the moment I am struggling for Australia PR and have completed assessment

Re: Singapore PR
If you are holding the P1 Employment Pass, then there should not be any issues at all. In general, if you have a good employment history and have had no issues living in Singapore, the PR application should be quite a simple process.
