Hello all

I understand this might not be a right forum to post, as i am not a Brit - but i am desperate to get any advice.

I am an Indian national and got a midemeanor conviction while working in the US in 2006. I am now in India & planning to relocate to Singapore soon.

I want to know if this will show up in Singapore immigration.
Any details / help offered would be greatly appreciated..

no criminal background checks are done as far as I know.
you certainly don't have to get police clearance from India or USA

Inselaffen - do they fingerprint when we arrive at Singapore PoE? If so, would US conviction records show up there? Please let me know your thoughts.

no you don't get fingerprinted at PoE
you do get fingerprinted now though when you apply for your work permit.
